Judith, your word and #FearlessFaith remind me so much of my dear friend Beth Lipko, who lost her fight last year. Her “Save The Date” was 6-8 months (non-smoking lung cancer), she celebrated and squeezed every last drop of joy out 5 yrs later. I appreciate your words and will pray for you. Keep the faith and keep living out loud! You are so right, not everyone gets a save the date and even if afforded one, too often it is ignored or fought. With Nate we embraced it and knew that just as you are, keep living life, enjoy the people, places and things that bring joy and light into your life and most importantly do it all with a gracious and happy heart.

You ask how I would live differently if I was awarded a “save the date”? I would try to learn how to internalize the faith that you have in God and to become a true believer in the way that you are. We loved Dr Ko. Dad had similar journey - lung Mets after whipple (but just 2 years later). Slow growing. Dr Ko gives good advice. And you have a wonderful vision of life and living. Enjoy your many exciting trips!
